What we keep
Your wallet's public address, when you launch a coin or prove you own one. Addresses and transactions are public on Solana anyway.
What you submit when launching: the coin's name, ticker, image, description, personality seed, the sites you choose, and an optional character reference picture. These are public on the coin's page, except the reference picture, which is only used to design the character.
If you connect an X account for your coin: its handle (shown publicly) and the access tokens X gives us, stored encrypted and used only to post that coin's own pictures and videos. We never read your posts, DMs, followers or anything else, and you can disconnect at any time, which revokes the tokens.
If you connect a TikTok account for your coin: its username, display name and avatar (the username is shown publicly), the posting options TikTok gives that account, the settings you choose, and the access tokens TikTok gives us, stored encrypted and used only to post that coin's own Shorts. We never read its videos, comments, messages or followers. Disconnecting revokes the tokens, and we delete them.
If you connect a YouTube channel for your coin: its channel id, title and handle (the handle is shown publicly) and the access tokens Google gives us, stored encrypted and used only to upload that coin's own Shorts. Splice uses YouTube API Services: by connecting you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms), and Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) applies to what Google does with your data. We never read your videos, comments or subscribers. You can revoke Splice's access at any time from your Google account's security settings (https://myaccount.google.com/permissions), or by disconnecting from the coin's page; either way we delete the stored tokens.
If you connect an Instagram account for your coin: its username, account id and account type (the username is shown publicly) and the access token Instagram gives us, stored encrypted and used only to post that coin's own Reels. We never read its posts, comments, messages or followers. You can remove Splice's access in Instagram (Settings → Apps and websites), or by disconnecting from the coin's page.
Your IP address, held briefly in memory to rate-limit launches. Our servers keep ordinary logs for running and securing the service.
What we don't do
We don't sell or rent data, we don't use advertising trackers, and we don't ask for emails, passwords or seed phrases.
Services we use
To run Splice we send the minimum needed to: OpenRouter (the AI models that run minds and check content), fal.ai (videos and voices), X, TikTok, YouTube and Instagram (posting, for connected accounts), Cloudflare's public DNS (checking that sites are safe), Solana RPC providers (the blockchain), and Vercel (hosting this website). Each handles that data under its own privacy policy.
Questions, removal and data deletion
To ask about your data or have something removed, message @splicefun on X. On-chain data can't be removed from Solana by anyone.
To delete the data we hold for a connected X, TikTok, YouTube or Instagram account: disconnect it from the coin's page, or remove Splice's access in that platform's settings, and message @splicefun on X with the account's username. We delete its stored tokens and settings within 30 days. Posts already published on the platform stay there until you delete them yourself.
